Depending on the time of our national flight, transfer by private vehicle to the international airport of Lima. Check-in to our domestic flight to Trujillo.

Arrival into Trujillo, welcome by our local driver and transfer to the accommodation of our selection.

2:00 p.m..: Discovery of the Moche Valley. We will depart by shared transport towards the countryside Moche where we will be able to appreciate the varieties of cultures and the traditional clothes of the area. We will visit the Huaca del Sol which is near the Moche river. This characteristic caused that some researchers have assigned an administrative function, associated with the control of the valley. To realize its construction it took approximately 140 million adobes (raw bricks). Currently its average height is 40 m for a length of 340 m and a width of 160 m.

Then we will visit Huaca de la Luna. This archaeological complex was the capital of Moche culture, between the years 400 and 600 BC. Its current extent is 120 hectares including Huacas del Sol and Luna, and the village Moche in the middle of the two huacas. Back to the accommodation.

7:45 a.m.: Transfer to the bus station of Trujillo and departure by bus at 8:30 a.m., towards Chiclayo.

12:30 p.m.: Arrival in Chiclayo, reception by our local driver, then transfer to the accommodation of our selection.

2:00 p.m..: Visit the archaeological site of Tucume. Transfer by shared vehicle towards the archaeological site of Tucume which represents pyramids and ceremonial trays built with terracotta (Adobe) by two different cultures, Lambayeque culture and Chimu culture, which gives a very interesting result. Then we will visit the Tumbas Reales museum. Its architecture was inspired by the ancient pyramids of the pre-Inca period of the Moche culture and it has the shape of the old tomb of the Lord of Sipan. This museum exhibits the incredible collection of gold objects found in the tomb. Back to the accommodation.

4:30 a.m.: Arrival in Chiclayo, reception by our local driver, then transfer to the accommodation of our selection.

8:30 a.m..: Discovery of Gocta Falls. Departure by shared transport to the village of Cocachimba where we will begin a beautiful hike to the waterfall Gocta (771 m which places it fifth in the world of waterfalls) in the middle of dense vegetation, habitat of Gallito de las rocas , national bird of Peru, choro monkey with yellow tail but also hummingbirds and other birds peculiar to the area.

After a moment spent at the foot of the waterfall, we will return to Cocachimba.

Back to Chachapoyas and settle in at the accommodation of our selection.

7:30 a.m..: Necropolis of Revash. Departure by shared transport towards the necropolis of Revash. We will enjoy a funeral site located on the side of the cliff for the elite Chachapoyas. On the tombs the details of the forms, the features of the faces and especially their eyes, seem to fix the visitor and show a great artistic mastery.

Continue our journey to the village of Leymebamba where we will visit a beautiful museum with more than 200 mummies that were found in 1997 near the lagoon condors, 10 hours walk from Leymebamba. Most of the pieces exhibited at the museum are from the Chachapoyas period as well as from the time of Inca rule in the region. The museum has an exhibition of quipus (these famous strings with coded knots) whose state of preservation is exceptional.
